Re: Stop Talking About B-Ball and Pay Tribute

I read about his speech and they said it was great. I watched what they had on USA, I'm looking forward to the Wrestlemania DVD to see the rest.
What we've got here is failure to communicate. Some men you just can't reach, so you get what we had here last week which is the way he wants it. Well, he gets it.

Re: Stop Talking About B-Ball and Pay Tribute

The Rock's intro was great. Good to see him make an appearance although from every account I've heard or read, he's trying to distance himself from the WWE.

Damn DVR cut off Flair's speech less than a minute in. Guess I'll have to wait for the DVD as well as the show isn't on USA's schedule for the next week.

I was hoping to maybe see some footage of Rocky Johnson, but forgot about the show being on. I vaguely remember him wrestling in Mid Atlantic under a mask when I was a kid.

Re: Stop Talking About B-Ball and Pay Tribute

    An End of an Era!!!

Shawn Michaels didn't want to do it....once....twice.....and then finally delivered "Sweet-Chin Music" to Flair and covered him for the one-two-three. A lot of emotion after the match from almost every "tough" guy in the business.
The memories.... I am going to miss him jumping someone from behind, breaking Dusty Rhodes's leg, climbing over the steel cage and jumping Sting in the aisle, beating Terry Funk in a come back match after Funk "broke" Flair's neck by pile-driving him through a table a couple of months earlier, then a couple weeks later, beating Funk in an "I quit" match...and the trash talking! No one could work a crowd or a mic like Flair! The chops, dropping face first in the ring, flipping over the top rope then climbing it to get thrown off by his opponent and the Greatest Gang of all Time....."The Four Horsemen!"
You have to be a fan to understand!
    That's what memories are for!
